Braid Theory Impact, a nonprofit based in Southern California, is dedicated to showcasing integrated technologies that promote ocean and climate solutions. We engage key stakeholders—including entrepreneurs, private industry leaders, and philanthropists—through targeted events like Tech Talks and Ignite22, as well as by creating a sandbox/demo site to illustrate how these solutions work in harmony.
Our mission extends to building capacity within the Blue Economy Cluster in Los Angeles. We collaborate with organizations such as the EDD to provide incubators that generate public benefits, including job creation. We focus on aggregating solutions that benefit the Port and its community, emphasizing zero emissions, improved air and water quality, biodiversity, and climate resilience. Additionally, we offer physical spaces for clusters, including coworking facilities and a demo site barge, and support teams with pilot projects and grant opportunities.
